Waste Education Bus

The Waste Education Bus is a FREE and interactive learning experience for your Primary school. Sessions on board the bus offer an informative multimedia and hands on experience direct to your school.

On board children learn about the 3R’s of waste (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) or composting. Each workshop lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour, although this is flexible to suit your needs and school day. The sessions are targeted specifically at KS2 years 3 and 4. Ideally each group contains 15 children, however this is flexible but the maximum group size is 20.

The aim of the sessions is to raise awareness of waste and how we can all Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Compost the waste that we create.

Remember the Waste Education Bus and Waste Education Team are a FREE resource for schools within the county.
